Intelligence is the ability to learn and problem solve. You can be smart but unintelligent, and you can be intelligent but dumb.

I think the term you want is wise. You can be intelligent without wisdom and wise without great intelligence. Semantics I know but I think that is what you’re getting at. It explains how so many “educated” people are brainwashed.

That is how Dungeons & Dragons distinguishes these mental abilities.

Then there's charisma, the ability to understand oneself and others. President Trump has genius level stats here.

If I recall, intelligence is 2 components, pattern recognition (hey the wheat grows like shit here, but better over there) and then problem solving. I would add ability to learn as well, because thosw 1st 2 components are no good if you forget what you learned lol. This is why Zimbabwe/Somalia are fucked in that regard. Agriculture, modernized at the very least, escapes them.
