How does one find the likes of you in real life? My wife literally cries over the nonsense she had to put up with the liberal flakes she has been seeing. She had a really good based doctor years ago that left the area, and it has been terrible since.
That is a tough one, as our field is full of “progressives.” I am always encouraging people to advocate for themselves to find a doc that they gel with. Docs that are worth while should keep their beliefs to themselves, as politics don’t have a place in the therapy room.
Sometimes providers will have reviews online that you may be able to find. Additionally, I am all for people contacting their providers’ licensing boards if there are concerns about care or professionalism.
