That's probably why Trump was tweeting about Scarborough so much. Lay some obvious bait the fact checkers ignore so it's all the more poignant when he, correctly, tweets about election fraud and they "fact check" that tweet but nothing else.

I hope they have gotten enough evidence to bring meaningful lawsuits. The traps sure were set for long enough. Conservative voices have been silenced on social media for years.

He was on point today. You might as well shit on President Trump while you're at it, since he is allowing AG Barr to stay in place.

IntrepidBurger 15 points ago +16 / -1

I really want to chalk up these concern trolls as recent additions to the Trump Train. Those of us who've been here long enough know to trust Trump and his long-term planning.

Trump doesn't play to lose.

I've had confidence in Barr from the start. It's just that Democrat fuckery has been allowed to freely encompass soo many things for the last 2 decades, it's going to take a while to unravel it all.

Exactly, succinctly stated.

OhioRiverGator -2 points ago +3 / -5

Hey Barr, just shut up and do your job!

-7
bill_in_texas -7 points ago +11 / -18

Is Barr very concerned yet? Somebody wake me up when he's very concerned, so I know that he's reached peak "won't do shit about this either" status.

Staatssicherheit 6 points ago +15 / -9

You have a similar mindset to those looters in Minnesota. You want things done immediately like a child.

9
DrCowboyPresident 9 points ago +13 / -4

What a shitty, unfair comparison to make. Our whole lives we've seen nothing but corrupt, ass grabbing, lying politicians, of whom Barr was happily a part of. Comparing our legitimate concern with that is ridiculous bullshit.

13
BigFreedomBoner 13 points ago +13 / -0

I get it, Years and year of ridiculous bullshit and more waiting?

I don't want to fool ourselves, but think tell me if you agree - we've had more wins in the last three years than the last 50 years. Right? We have all these wins - more than ever- and we can feel like we are losing. But I don't think we are. Their best guy to defeat Trump is Joe fucking Biden. LOL. Biden is a corrupt B list senator who is the clumsiest politician ever is an overt liar, senile and racist. He too left for the right, to right for the left, and too obnoxious for anyone else. Joe Biden. They got to be panicked.

And their bench sucks.

We don't win everything. That is true. But that does not mean we are losing. How do you think the D's feel? They seriously could be shut out of all branches of government if the margin of fraud gets too high. And Biden is crapping up their brand so wonderfully!

I don't know everything. At all. But I do want to trust the guy that kicked the shit out of the establishment in 2016. And it is my goes Trump wants revenge more than any of us. His family was spied on ffs.

Yeah we been let down. Fuck yeah. But we were always let down with lies to our face. Blll Kristol was someone I used listen to years ago. Can you believe that! All the 9 remaining NeverTrumpers I used to listen to. Not any more but to laugh.

But now we know who the traitors are. Not the case 10 yeas ago. I voted for John McCain! I voted for Mitt Romney! Right? Do you see that yes no arrest but awareness is TOTALLY different? Maybe that's reason for some optimism? Some high energy!

Barr said something interesting a couple weeks ago.

"History is written by the victors."

To me that a guy who knows he needs to win. Now the question whose side does he want to win? I don't know. I don't claim to know. But we are moving in the right direction. And that's just doesn't seem a statement a deep state cuck would make.

Sidney Powell got the docs she wanted. If Barr was deep state, it would be hard for him not to that happen without tells that he is a cuck. Compare with Wray's behavior. I won't way night and day different, but still a pretty big difference.

Not the case year ago.

I think we need to just keep an open mind. We really are only uncovering how deep this crap goes. I don't blame for being cautious. He wants to fry these fuckers.

So big difference. R's are not the same. We're finally fed up by the lies of our own party.

And who knows, tomorrow I might make a comment very similar to yours today. And maybe someone else will have to tell me to take a look at the big picture and how everything is totally different.

I'm thinking it's a generational thing with these people. I've lived long enough to know it takes forever for shit in govt to get done.

President Trump is the only man in 60+ years to actually take on the Deep State, and to top it all off, he's fuckingbtheir world up quickly and with authority.

It is frustrating how long all this is taking, but the slow roll will pay off in the long run with far more Swamp being drained.

Lastly, McConnell is not my favorite person, and I trust him as far as I can throw him, yet for any deep state arrests to end in convictions, President Trump knows there has to be judges in place who are not compromised/activists like Sullivan.

Cocaine Mitch could have slow rolled all federal confirmations, yet he has been a beast pushing them through. It is a very important part of the big picture.

2
BigFreedomBoner 2 points ago +2 / -0

Great points. And Mitch actually didn't just not slow roll. He confirmed more than anyone else. He did not need to that. He could have confirmed half and no one would have thought anything adverse about it.

We were problem aware before. Now we are PROBLEM aware. Sorry. I mean

PROBLEM AWARE.

And think about this. We are such a threat to CCP/DNC they took away our frickin platform we are such a threat. That is what is happening Can you imagine? .We are such a threat they felt they had to drop the mask entirely to stop us. They don't want it known what they are. But they thought it better to kill t_d than to let us continue to disseminate information.

Well they dropped the mask.

But they didn't stop us.

Staatssicherheit 3 points ago +7 / -4

Your concerns are as legitimate as theirs. The way you both act (It's been 48 hours. The police officer hasn't been charged and executed for murder yet, let's riot!) is pretty similar. The Flynn case and this first step in removing section 230 protections is action. But you don't see it that way. You want everything right now.

5
DrCowboyPresident 5 points ago +7 / -2

It's been 48 hours.

Try 3 and a half years.

And I don't 'want everything right now'. I've probably forgotten more books than you've read, son. Here's what I see: The rot in the Govt is so pervasive that one man likely can't stop it. Trump may very well end up like one of the great Roman Emperors of the late empire who tried their damndest to do the right thing but the social and political forces were just too much to overcome.

I've read far too many historical great men who nevertheless ended badly to blindly put my faith that one man can fix anything. Look up Pertinax for just one example.

4
IntrepidBurger 4 points ago +4 / -0

We're talking about undoing a deep state that is deeply embedded in every segment of government. More than half of government is likely part of the swamp somehow.

You don't undo that overnight. Especially not when your AG of two years fucks you over.

Give it time. This will take a while to play out, but it's moving forward. Trump doesn't play to lose.

Ya do realize it if Twitter stops with the censoring, it means that OUR VOICES will now be able to return to these platforms, where there are many more opportunities to win the arguments that matter.

Right now, conservative and non-leftists opinions are systematically silenced.

Stop fucking bitching about not being able to run some side gig that supports Trump. This is the only Trump site that matters.

9
proximo 9 points ago +9 / -0

Let them come, if we can't win the war of ideas with them, then we deserve to lose. Censorship is never the answer.

8
DrCowboyPresident 8 points ago +8 / -0

Just see 4chan. The left routinely gets its ass handed to it because they have no censorship power.

If I had my way I'd get rid of up/downvotes altogether.

Historically, however, it is prudent to note that the 'Freedom of Speech' movement in Colleges in the 70s was 100% done to gain power for the left. Previously, their commie ideas were locked out. After, they steadily took over education.

You can't depend on free speech to automatically give correct ideas the win. It just doesn't work that way. Often, the best sounding ideas win. And 'free shit' is a potent one. This is part of why democracy devolves to despotism. Then it becomes a monarchy as the minority intelligent figure out that most of the population have become a gaggle of dumbasses.

4
chuckachookah 4 points ago +5 / -1

Agree.

In fact, when Twitter stops systematically suppressing pretty ordinary, normal rule-of-law opinions, we will win there too.

The left requires an echo chamber for their utterly abstracted concept to go unchallenged. Their arguments to control human kind by ceding individual power to a disconnected, centralized power don't resonate for most people. And, history provides us with dozens of real-world, state-level attempts at Marxism (their underlying philosophy) and it ALWAYS ENDS IN: misery, starvation, and death.

The left's underlying philosophy and disposition is one of degradation, disguised in (civil/social/economic) "justice". It's not. It's a loser philosophy and I say that because, well, that philosophy always end in loss (of life, liberty, the pursuit of property, human dignity, etc). But, it's all the left and Marxist have, so they must suppress free thought.

Nah, we're a small message board with a theme. It'd be like telling a fish message board that they had to let all kinds of hippies on there to talk about how wrong it is to eat fish.

A lot of people against this EO appear to not have been alive or of a conscious age when Section 230 was enacted. It was put in place with good intentions but was ultimately and simply a violation of 1A rights to begin with. Site like Youtube and Facebook and Twitter came to fruition in a time when social media was still in its infancy. As a result, Section 230 gave these corporations immense power, as Barr explains very well here, to control what specifically people got to see on the platforms. This can be seen in no other way, as a massive victory for 1A rights
