I didn't say it wasn't a factor, but police are supposed protect and serve. It sounds ridiculous to say we tried to get him in the car for ten minutes and we couldn't so we strangled him for eight. And not being able to get him in the car seems to be that he was just falling on the ground not wanting to get in. if this guy was running around with a machete that's one thing. I support police but I've seen enough of them on a power trip over minor shit to know it's a bad thing. for everyone.
Not making assumptions, referring to the available footage. They had him cuffed and he fell to the ground when they got him to the other car. What are you on about?
spez/ the 'to try and say' bit was referring to the officer.
You SHOULD have said it wasn't a factor, because it's COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT. I don't care what a suspect did in the past, not 1 year ago, 1 minute ago or 1 second ago. If a person is not, at the present time, endangering the life of an officer or anybody else, then the officer has no right to use lethal force.
Even if the guy was like "I'll get in the car" and was like "psych" over and over for 10 minutes, it does NOT give the officers right to use lethal force. Just force him in the lockable car designed for EXACTLY that! There's NO excuse for this behavior.
Its matters and is an important factor and no I still don't think a 7+ minute neck hold was valid in any way.

Putting words in my mouth and you make nice assumptions too.
"seems to be that he was just falling to the ground"
We both agree he should not have been kneed on for 7+ minutes 3+ of which the guy was unresponsive.
From all the video I have seen the cop in question deserves jail time period so stop being fucking weird.

no video has him falling to the ground
don't make stuff up or assume things, shit he could have been thrown to the ground, knelt down and laid down etc, the point is no one knows yet
