News papers report 0.000000001% of everything that happens. You just report only on one thing. Deaths such as this one are extremely rare and they'll only cover it heavily if it has some "juicy" element such as it happens to be white on black.

The scene is so unbelievable though that it's hard to understand such as how can the cop be so stupid to not let off a bit or check things out when the suspect is clearly conked out.
