Cool I'm actually not trying to change any minds. Someone else asked the question and I linked to twitter using the word supposedly. I just find it interesting the way a few people here are pushing the cops narrative so hard without any counter evidence, when it's been shown time and again that police lie.
They have more credibility than the officer's ex-fiancee. We don't need to conclude that the police version is definitely right either. But we should wait for more sollid evidence before helping circulate a story that could be extremely harmful to an innocent police officer it it's not true.

If we can validate this was actually his ex-fiance and the goal is simply attribution of the person in the video, then I'd say she's way more credible than a faceless group of police. I am saying "if", nothing has been proven.
well trained and had a exfil plan.
Is this the guy who was revealed to be a cop?

Yes, supposedly IDed as a local cop.
True, I said supposedly. I see your only evidence is the police said it wasn't him.
Bullshit aside. I've spent enough time standing off against antifa. The guy in this video does not look or carry himself like one of them.
Technically you have a non-attributable post and a similar photo on one side and the word of the St Paul PD on the other.
Believing all cops unconditionally would be as dumb as believing all women unconditionally.

Please do not spread that rumor. It's most likely false. https://heavy.com/news/2020/05/jacob-pederson-auto-zone-cop-not-umbrella-man/ Imagine if you were a police officer in one of those cities, and a false rumor identifying you as the person in this photo was planted by your ex-fiancee and "went viral".
Carrying a bike lock??
Why is it most likely false? Because the police said so?

Apparently it's being disputed:

Would definitely like to know his ID though. Lots of jail time forthcoming one would hope.

Who? Military age white males dressed in cop boots?
Umbrella to block the above mounted cameras?
