They have more credibility than the officer's ex-fiancee. We don't need to conclude that the police version is definitely right either. But we should wait for more sollid evidence before helping circulate a story that could be extremely harmful to an innocent police officer it it's not true.

If we can validate this was actually his ex-fiance and the goal is simply attribution of the person in the video, then I'd say she's way more credible than a faceless group of police. I am saying "if", nothing has been proven.
