As for the riots, it was unnecessary. I get the anger these people have towards what happened, but burning your city to the ground is not the proper way to get justice.

Without the video and these riots, nothing would have happened to the cop.

Complain all you want, but their tactics are WORKING, at least for getting that cop fired and on trial.

And destroying dozens of others. What would the man, George Floyd, think about what they are doing? Do you think he would be happy? I think he would be disgusted. He would be happy if they did not destroy the city he lived in, his home. If they complained loudly and widely that is something else, but rioting and desecrating the community is just wrong no matter what.

If people just sat around complaining on the internet or held up signs on the sidewalk nothing would happen.

Hey I don't agree with it, its far from perfect, all I'm pointing out is that it's working, and IMO, a massive amount of professional organization would have been needed to fix it the "right way" and that just wasn't possible.

That is the problem. Federal was getting involved much quicker than in the past, but this happened within 2 day period. That is professional antagonists causing it to be worse.

Saying it would have been taken a massive amount of professional organization denies one thing. This is now going to take much longer than just doing it the right way. Cause of these riots it is going to take multiple times longer because of the sudden and surging amount of work being added.

Riots are to be the last thing to be used not the first. They normally make things much worse than better in the end.

Not attacking you, just pointing out that what can be considered effective can be situational at best. If a much higher authority got involved before the riot starts it would take much less time, but when a riot starts regardless though it creates much more work making the thing that started the riot take a seat on the backlog until the situation is sorted. It could take weeks instead of days now, and with much more people now going to jail or being shot.

I was being facetious, they could have organized all they wanted, I don't think anything would ever happen to that cop, maybe after 3 years of intense pressure by hundreds of thousands of people, something absurd like that. Who has the time for that bs. IMO the authoritarian systems are too entrenched, governments are filled with corrupt losers, media is fake, etc. Riots like these are decades in the making. If only they'd go after banks instead of businesses they might change something for the better.
