I get it. I do. Law is a complicated mire. CNN is so rich, and able to peruse and filter their content in ways that keep their lawsuits at a minimum they can afford. Then they use their own power to minimize them. Trump doesn't think, right now, that Twitter can do the same, so he is forcing them to choose. Which may work. But, look at what happened with TV and movies? This give and take, in the end, is a losing battle. I have not seen IRC recover from bots, for example. There are ways Twitter will be able to walk that fence, and the technology they need to do it isn't far off.

I get that it's a battle for another day, but I watched this happen with DOS attacks last time, and they screwed us over when a Dem came in power. Now its all about deep learning... This is a stop gap not prepared for the future. In the past, we have seen how this give and take really just turns into a slow erosion of freedom.
