Just heard him push it on a recent show and then he issued the disclaimer that they are an advertiser but he was also pushing it before they became one, just as you said, due to some Twitter controversy he had back in 2018.
Are you in P.R. or marketing? Cause that makes perfect sense. It’d send a flood of real people who care about stuff (and maybe some of the bullshit artists who see through the veil and want to stay relevant), plus it’d also cause a firestorm on Twitter. Idk how to feel about this in general from a principle standpoint, but Trump could very easily put Twitter out of business if he wanted, and considering how they’re acting I wouldn’t shed a tear about that. Take t_d leaving Reddit and how that site’s gone to hell and multiply it by at least 20 on an arguably smaller platform.
