I remember that picture of that pot smoker dude screaming at the cop in the Michigan capital - boy did the media tote that one around for weeks like a cat bringing a dead bird home to master.

That protestor's reaction was absolutely villified. I didn't agree with the Michigan capital protestors taking it to that next level but I sure as fuck do not agree with any of the MN riots or anywhere else.
