We've all seen it today, post after post of friends saying how their whiteness is inherently a privilege ... is there anything that demonstrates democratic white privilege more than claiming it, apologizing for it and suggesting we need to become more "anti-racist"?

While you may even be correct (or wrong) add to where the privilege level puts them, you're playing into their game .
100% agree treat people equally
I see it as just dead man's baggage. Or perhaps, 150 years ago, some people did something.
I always treat people equally but if they tell me I have some magic priviledge, they are no longer in my life.
