Pretty low energy, truth be told. I'm not seeing a lot of go getters out there. Bunch of people standing around with cell phones. Some looters. A few fires started here and there. Even Minneapolis lacks the energy it had last night or two.
For the most part looks like a bunch of bored kids with time on their hands and nothing better to do.
I don't mean to excuse or dismiss any actual acts of violence that have been perpetrated.
And when you say kids, are we talking physically or mentally?
It may just be the warm up phase. If you have a gun, you better get it ready in case shit hits the fan. I am one of the stupid ones who never bothered buying one.
Gun stores will be open tomorrow. It's worth a few hundred in credit card debt if you don't have the money. Even if you have to wait for a 3 day background check or something, you'll still have your piece sometime next week.

I'm seeing the same thing too. It's a lot of sensationalism going on but not as humongous as it's being made out.
I see a lot of "weekend is just getting started" statements. What, these people were too busy at their jobs that don't exist throughout the week? I think this will all fizzle out because they'll be distracted by the next thing.
The weekend just started, man. Tonight and tomorrow are going to be crazy. This has the potential to go on for weeks, as well, if governors don't crack down.
Weekend is meaningless. Everybody is out of work. Yeah it could go on. But most of what I'm seeing is a bunch of kids filming with cell phones while a few people act out.

No, it's not meaningless. Even if everyone of these people were out of work (and they're definitely not all unemployed), there is something psychological about the weekend that just triggers dumb people into committing more violence than usual.
Unfortunately, they may be just getting started.
