Same goes for the small midwest states. You can keep your business districts and NFL teams. I'll enjoy not worrying about my house getting burned down and being able to legally shoot anybody who tries.

Don't tell many people, otherwise you'll get California locusts descending upon the bush country of Alaska.

Sounds like heaven. Although as I get older the cold weather doesn't agree with me.

As someone who was born in a liberal shithole. I envy you.

I am terribly sorry, dude. You can wait this out with me at the craps tables in Biloxi, if you want.

Are they open again? Do they have any stupid social distancing rules in place?

3
astrickland [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

All is open but there are still social distancing guidelines. Thing is, businesses are doing just the bare minimum to comply. At the casinos people are all touching the same chips, cards, and dice without having sanitation in between every round.

I live in a small Midwest town in MO. Everyone around here is like WTF? Protesting peacefully is one thing, rioting, looting and burning shit is another. The MN rioters should have been made an example of, that you don't stand this shit. Now it is out of the bag. I am just glad I am well armed and my city wouldn't give two shits if I had to pepper up some looters. Not that they would come this far outside city limits.

I’m also in smallish town mo. Everything is totally normal here.

Democrats are terrorists.

Media also makes it seem worse than it is. I live just north of L.A. like a 15 minute drive from downtown and haven’t heard or seen anything unusual. Actually I live a few blocks from the local police and fire station and have heard less sirens than usual.

don't have much to offer in terms of nightlife

Most "nightlife" is the dumbest thing ever. Save your money and your health. If you want something to do at night, hang out with a few close friends. Or spend the time working/learning a new skill. Or, god forbid, going to bed on time.

You're doing the right thing. Cucked cities are a lost cause.

I live by Redstone in Huntsville..I would have figured if something were to happen it would happen in Birmingham

I live just south of Bham on the border of Jefferson and Shelby counties. There was a 100 man demonstration on Thursday. It was an actual protest, not a riot. No problem with that.

Antifa won't waste its time trying to whip up trouble here, I reckon.

In northern Washington right now. Gotta tell you these 80 degree BBQ days with perfect weather while metros burn to the ground are just so brutal.

Between cost of living, corona, and rioting. Why does anyone live in cancerous tumors known as cities in America?

FRONT_TOWARD_LEFT 3 points ago +3 / -0

That "separate country" thing is dead on.

I look at these riots happening, and I don't care. I know I should care. I know these are fellow citizens. I know there are non-leftards suffering from this.

But I look at what is happening and want to scream, "HOW THE FUCK ELSE DID YOU EXPECT THINGS TO TURN OUT AFTER LETTING HARDCORE LEFTARDISM RUN RAMPANT FOR THE LAST THIRTY YEARS?"

We extend marxists the freedom to fill the minds of the reason-challenged and the easily misled with toxic ideas entirely antithetical to the founding principles of The American Experiment and then have the nerve to wonder WTF we cannot have nice things anymore. What the hell is wrong with us?

The only way to preserve freedom and individual liberty is to create and sustain an environment where leftists are too scared to open their lying fucking mouths. Making a fetish of free speech turns our Bill of Rights into a suicide pact. There is no reason why anyone should have a right to spread demonstrable falsehoods.

  • Spez to say: I am not advocating laws that criminalize marxist speech. I am advocating strict government hands-off policy for when people take matters into their own hands to fuck with marxists and to make their lives hell. We have that already working in the opposite direction with "cancel culture" and political correctness, so that genie is and has been out of the bottle for decades already.

Dont hate on our night life. Cow tipping, mud riding and a barbecue at the trailer park are the best of times.
