I know Alabama and Mississippi don't have much to offer in terms of nightlife, but I feel like I'm living in a separate country right now.

Same goes for the small midwest states. You can keep your business districts and NFL teams. I'll enjoy not worrying about my house getting burned down and being able to legally shoot anybody who tries.

I live by Redstone in Huntsville..I would have figured if something were to happen it would happen in Birmingham

I live just south of Bham on the border of Jefferson and Shelby counties. There was a 100 man demonstration on Thursday. It was an actual protest, not a riot. No problem with that.

Antifa won't waste its time trying to whip up trouble here, I reckon.
