When this bullshit wuflu shit is over, may I suggest getting involved in MAGA shit? It makes a huge difference to get out and socialize vs. socialize over the internet. It may not be easy, or even comfortable to start, but will pay dividends in mental health. I hope this doesn't sound preachy. I know the benefits of human interaction (especially MAGA folk) as well as the problems of isolation.
this. go find a maga group. a maga meet up. a maga date for a maga mate. The WuFlu has strained many of my friendships and relationships, and I'm letting them all rest for now. People will eventually calm down, wake up, etc. And this place is awesome for support. but you need real people and real community too.
This. I learned awhile back not to be “quiet“ about your stances. Don’t be an annoying jerk that nobody likes, but make sure people know. At the beginning of the virus I proudly stood for freedom. Now everyone around me is coming around and are coming to me for questions because I gained their trust by being informed and proven correct. Be a leader even when it’s difficult
yeah this. a lot of people stopped talking to me after I sent a few too many memes. All starting to come back out of the woodwork now with questions. so you really think i can go out and see my friends? you really think my kids won't die if i take them to the park? etc.
It depends on where you live, if you're in a deep blue area you can be literally risking everything by speaking out including your job and personal safety. If I put a Trump flag up at my house I would be risking having my house burned down
