Thanks for bringing that memory back. In the past I watched a guy in a garage try to get a truck tire off a two-piece rim w/o the right tools. He was prying the spline out with a crow bar and when it popped loose, the steel rim went straight up and damaged the rafters above. If he's been leaning a little farther in, it would have taken his head up with it.
