yes, actually, citizens can defend the white house better than police and even the secret service. Citizens have a DUTY to protect our nation by whatever means necessary. And it doesn't matter what it looks like either. Citizens have a lot more freedoms to do this sort of thing than police do. Police hands are tied.
Strength is in numbers is what the rioters are relying on and our police are way outnumbered. It is important to repel rioters in a way that comes from another source rather than it looking like only police are simply attacking "protesters" (which they are no longer)
