It’s fascinating to me that a leftist friend pointed out to me (subtly) how Christians believed (and some still do she said) that the earth is flat and that they opposed Christopher Columbus voyage because it would prove them wrong. Did research only to find there were other serious reasons they opposed. Anyway, all that to say- I’d never heard much of that, and thought it so weird she’s bringing it up.
