I think you forgot that the only business open still is planned parenthood. Planned parenthood is phasing out black communities. That was it's purpose. PP will be in black communities until they cease to exist.
You just explained Detroit in the 70s. Riot was in 67'. 1970s the white flight started and continued. with signs up all over that said "the last one out of Detroit Please turn out the lights". I know this cause I was part of it.
Detroit cops busted a blind pig (after hours bar/Gambling/weed etc) arrested everyone. They could not take them out thru the Alley cause the back door would not open. They dragged everyone out the front, right in front of the people. Big no no in an all Black Area. The natives were throwing shit at the cops and started a Riot.
During this, the Algies motel was full of people partying and some idiot started shooting at the cops. Cops raided the Algiers. Cops were a lot rougher in those days. Beat everyone because nobody would talk.
Riots were at full blown steam at that point. Tanks rolling in, national guard, cops etc. Natives burned whole neighborhoods and bombed and looted all the stores. Cops were out gunned. Armed with only 38 long nose pistols. My cousin was a cop. Came over to our house to get my dad's shot gun and shells.
Whole neighborhoods walking around armed. My dad had a rifle and pistol with holster on at all times as did my neighbors who all were in Vietnam. All Patrolling the area. Then everyone said F this and moved out to the burbs if you could. They burned all their shit and then went to untouched areas and srted robbing those stores. Nobody ever came back to Detroit. 50 years later the downtown area is just now making a comeback.
There is no future for black communities if this goes on. Every black community will look like Detroit or Camden.
