I tried explaining this to a co-worker once. I think the vast vast majority of people ultimately want peace. Even the feared white supremacists. It's why people are willing to go to war, if they think it will lead to the peace they want on the other side. It doesn't make them right by any means. But every ideology has some idealistic ends.
Very few people want to burn everything to the ground and cause chaos for the sake of causing chaos.
Unfortunately she didn't seem to get it, because she's way too indoctrinated into the idea that everyone lighter than a paper bag wants black people dead for no reason other than to watch people die.
...and White Nationalists would never stomp their way into a black neighborhood where they'd be outnumbered 100-1.
Nor would white supremacists be vandalizing things with BLM hashtags..
I don't think there's enough of them to be able to gather in such numbers to cause such damage.
