My dad did basic training in Mississippi in the 50s and said he was appalled when he saw things like separate drinking fountains for blacks. There is certainly still racism but not systematic & certainly nothing like the 50s.
IDK, I guess I would start with the fact that 10s of thousands of black people are burning down every Democrat ran major city in the U.S. and no one has been killed or arrested because that would be racist. You could start there
Ask them why Asians and Indian families are more successful and wealthier than whites, per capita. Why would systematic racism allow these two ethnic groups to strive past whites

Tried it - cannot be done, because ultimately it distills down to feeling. As in, white people can walk down the street without feeling like strangers view them as criminals and black people can't.
Any examples of black success are anecdotal, so mentioning Obama has no relevance since that feeling never went away and unarmed black men are still killed by police despite his election(as if unarmed people being killed by police is something that could ever truly end).
To the leftist, the state of black oppression has never been worse than at present because racism is not as "in your face" as it was in the past - it's microaggressions and disguised discrimination. That lady crossed the street because I'm black. My loan wasn't approved because I'm black. That dog barked at me because I'm black. At least back when lynching and cross-burning were common(they weren't) you knew who your enemies were. Now people smile at you and then stab you in the back.
Since it can't be disproven, all that matters is how they perceive it.
Make them embrace it fully. Tell them to give up all their belongings and money to people of color if they really believe that shit. Tell them anything less is just worthless virtue signaling.
