Considering that a lot of people I work with tend to joke around yet can't make anything funny(I got there joke after hearing it once have to freaking act dumb just to not cause a scene[still is funny though when I ask questions and change the entirety of the joke without them realizing what I am doing]).

Today one said about Popo(Police slang term in the way they were using it). Acted as if I misheard him and asked if he was talking about the Pope. Completely through the entire thing out of order then just caused them to make sense of the fact that the unfunny joke suddenly became a funny one without trying to be funny.
