It’s actually kind of fucked up and scary just how powerful media and social media has on people.

Agree. A week ago Elon Musk was treated like he was Satan because he wanted to reopen a factory but would allow anyone who wanted to to stay home. Now the media is openly encouraging people to go out and riot for justice. I'm sure if there is a big uptick in COVID-19 in two weeks they will just blame it on Trump though.

They are potentially killing people while protesting about a dude that was killed. Makes no sense.

As someone said, Covid-19 is like the Vietnam war - at some point it became too expensive so they pretended it was over.
