I live in MN and I am seeing people posting this with their normal orange man bad tone and people are generally replying with "but he's not wrong..."

Lots of people trying to blame white supremecist but it's painfully obviously antifa and locals. There were peaceful protesters marching but the riots were over the top and people here are friggin disgusted.

General sentiment so far seems to be the governor and mayor utterly fucked up and let the city burn down. It looks like their plan was to just do nothing and hope they'd be satisfied with burning a police precinct down, when instead it was like blood in the water.

Black community can't seem to throw antifa under the bus hard and fast enough, it would be wise to join them on that middle ground.

Are the antifa locals?

Probably a mix, they're all over including here.

So sad but thanks for the info. Let me address the notion that antifa is "all over:"

you may have seen news coverage of our protest at the WI State Capitol. The only reported numbers I could find were "about 1,500. With some who disagreed."

There were helicopters overhead when we were at our peak of about 10,000. None of that footage ever showed up anywhere. I spoke at length with both people who were there to disagree. This is not hyperbole. Yes I walked the entire area at peak, taking it all in and trying to organize patriots to future action. One of those there to disagree had the only antifa flag I've ever seen IRL. The visceral reaction it created in me was unbelievably powerful, so I walked away and calmed down before striking up a conversation. He was all alone there, which I couldn't tell. It looked like those nearest him were with him, but no. He was 18, 6'6", 320#. Twice my size. Guarantee had we fought I would have won. He's intelligent, but ignorant of history and mainly needs a (good) Father.

It seemed I was unable to persuade him of much, and he already knows the evil of our Fed which is an aspect of history many don't know about so he's not entirely ignorant. That's a big deal but he's willing to fault that on "capitalism." Of course this says nothing about beliefs or knowledge among antifa as a whole, and they offer not one solution as I expect you know. My point being they don't have numbers everywhere.

I agree with your idea that we should find middle ground wherever we can, and join whoever we can. The black community throwing antifa under the bus is a GREAT opportunity for this! And DJT has done this beautifully. True leadership on this crisis!
