All being said, reason seven is the most significant because what we're really seeing is that the progressive lefties are acting crazy because that's how they think they get their way. The establishment is trying out several narratives to see which one sticks and to wrestle the progressives' narrative away from them. The Dem corporate establishment actually wants to win - at all costs- because they want their globalist gravy train. The Progressive left does not care about the Democrat party, corporations, rule of law or about viability at this point. They want to take down the Dem corporate establishment because they want complete and total control of the party. The establishment Dems don't understand that it's not 2000 anymore and their playbook is woefully clumsly but they don't care. They'll keep switching narratives until they find one that is platable to most Democrats. They don't care if it's true or not. They'll accuse white supremacists, Russians, cartels, Trump and/or Godzilla if they get to stay in power and keep the gravy train going. Progressives on the other hand, have always been the grudgingly tolerated activists of the Democrat Party but the establishment has never liked them but just pretends that there is "no enemies to the left". The progressive Dems know they are "the enemy to the left" and also know, the establishment won't actually say it to their faces. So, they want to overthrow the establishment and bring on a full scale revolution or get squashed trying for it. It doesn't help that progressives are totally clueless about how ridiculous their polls are showing most Americans agreeing with them. They really don't know how to analyze the data. The don't realize that at most, only 8% of Americans agree with them.
Thus, this thing mostly boils down to who can win the narrative battle and get control of the Democrat Party before the convention.
