What people (black and white liberals) care about is maintaining their feeling of indignation as a victim. They are literally addicted to the emotions they've been taught feel their whole life. These people are getting off big time on their heightened emotions and the death of a black man at the hands of a white cop is their crack cocaine. George Floyd as a person is nothing to black people, no one (apart from friends and family) cared about him when he was alive and no one cares about him now. The same thing can be said for every black person who is killed by another black person, no one in the "black community" cares about those black lives.
In this case I think Antifa are more at fault though. Although Antifa and BLM are related, Antifa are more on the radical end, and a lot of the BLM crowd (especially the black ones) want less violence. Without Antifa, I suspect that these protests would have been somewhat peaceful (relatively at least).
I have been collecting videos of white antifa-types vandalizing and smashing windows, setting fire to police cars etc.... you know... getting the looting and violence started. I'll post at some point soon.
