Thank you for your awareness. Checked the tweet since I find it unbelievable they would get their hands on a power plant, and it indeed seems like it's just a substation explosion caused by a forest fire. Not sure what caused the forest fire but we can speculate later.
Before you really worry about it, ask yourself this: Where is the nearest power plant that I most likely get my electricity from?
Personally, I can't answer that and I've lived in my county for going on 17 years now. I know the name of the utility companies which operate in the area, and driving along rural roads you might see a sign for (XXX Power Company) or something here or there, but it's not like these things are planted in the middle of downtown Salt Lake City.
Trust me that anarchists don't have easy access to these facilities, and them grabbing one would easily be enough cause for Trump to send in the US Military.
Thankfully forest fires are hard to direct and control. Also any power plant worth its salt will have the area far around the forest cleared. I don't doubt anarchists set out to burn the forests down but mostly they just catch houses and utility substations, not sure I've seen many instances where even the worst wildfire was capable of taking out our electricity (except for the time it takes to reroute power around a blown substation).
I can't really answer that question either. I know where my 3 nearest plants are (all within 5-10 miles of me) and since they all feed into the grid I suppose it's all three plus more... but deep down I like to believe 100% of it comes from our nukes.
That would ruin their master's plan. They want control, but don't want to cause to much damage. That said, though, an anarchist would not care and do it anyway. They are just much more scared for their lives(unless they are inebriated).
