When I do end up going to work, I'm not hiding my support for Trump anymore. It's not happening after today.

Exactly this. I have to be somewhat careful, but I see it over and over. When I gamble and speak up, I find people are more MAGA than I knew but they were silent and afraid they were alone.
There are definitely some in your category. I suspect though (and this is just my experience) that the majority are more afraid than weary of arguments.
I work downtown in Seattle myself, and those riots are only a block or two away from where I usually work. Of course, everyone is working remotely due to the Wuhan Coronavirus, but still I'm very careful not to discuss political stuff. People do dance around it but are very cautious to come out with it. For a party that is so openly for gays and lesbians to come out of the closet, they really don't seem interested in hearing other political opinions.
My girlfriend and her family agree with a lot of my viewpoints, so I'm very happy about that. The suburbs are usually more conservative anyway, a couple months ago I even saw one guy with a camo hat that said "My Ass Got Acquitted" which I thought was pretty funny.

I swore I wouldn't wear one but that slammed into my options of switching to a different pharmacy than Costco.
I was going to go the route of malicious compliance and wear my full facemask respirator (which I already had for different jobs, painting, etc), but since I just wear my half-mask respirator with the pink pads which seems to really freak people out.
My favorite was yesterday morning after the riots I saw a couple with a generator and eight 5-gallon gas cans checking out. We live 500 miles from the nearest riot and we're in the friggin suburbs.
Think about that the next time these people tell you to wear a mask. These are the same people that saw this shit on TV, in a different state, and thought it might mean they would get cut off from municipal power and water service. That is how scared they are.
That is how well it is working on some of these people, and most of them vote.
