Keep dropping truth but do it in question form. Question his points and beleifs. Challenge his critical thinking, dont attack his beliefs. When you do that people shut down. You have to help him to question these things on his own.

Liberalism is the opposite of rationalism because they start with certain conclusions and work backwards to make all the data and reasoning fit. That's why your brother's actions don't follow his beliefs, and why some of his beliefs are logically conflicting.
For example, liberals feel that everyone should get "special treatment", but this ignores the logical fact that if everyone's special, then no one is. Doesn't matter though because they start with that first belief and will hold it inviolably.
And that's the problem, you can't change their beliefs through reasoning because their beliefs are primary, and reasoning is just a way to get to justify them.
I think you can sway them though. It's a long, long road, but it's possible. Don't ever push. Just drop tiny red pills here and there, trying to keep politics aside. Statements like "These riots are crazy. Violence is never the answer." or "Oh wow, did you see this NYT retraction?" or "Man, if everyone had a gun to protect themselves none of this shit would happened."
Don't know if you're religious, but slowly introducing someone to spirituality (the Christian kind) does wonders. Everything about the Christian belief system is anathema to liberalism (that's why they hate it). The other major religions actually encourage liberal thinking. Again, proceed gently and never push.
