Shit these riots are making me think "I should buy a gun" and I personally have an aversion to them (Still strongly support the second ammendment) because my cousin killing himself playing with one when I was 5.

I understand your aversion to them. My recommendation to you is to seek training. Most people's fears come from ignorance and I'm not saying that in a derogatory way. Many people fear what they dont understand.
