NYC is a big place. They stopped the one in Brooklyn from escalating and they made numerous arrests. The one with the looting was Downtown Manhattan, but cops showed up fairly quickly and numerous arrests were made.
They tried the same shit in Union Square, also in Manhattan but a little higher up, but police were ready to stop any BS.
Compared to the shit that's been happening across the U.S., the NYPD have handled this with flying colors. A whole lot better than Texas, or Utah, or Tennessee.
DiBlasio just had them all fired and the man was given a 3.7 million dollar settlement. You can’t do your job if your mayor is on the side of the enemy.
