The first few levels in Russia were good but it dragged on too long. Ukraine level was shit and mostly cut-scenes. Pandemic level was great, totally unexpected, but now we are back to another riot level? Feels like they just slightly remade the first one, from the 2016 edition. Anyway overall I give this one 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Haven’t finished yet, heard the ending is amazing.... no spoilers pls!)
To be fair, it's difficult to program good NPCs. Usually you compensate their lack of smartness by giving them more raw power. Like dominating the media, academia, etc...
Pretty common for developers to pad out a game by having you go through the same dungeons again, only backwards. After this I wouldn't be surprised if we have to backtrack through the pandemic and Russia dungeons, too.
But there's already so much asset re-use from the Russia level :/ I swear every level since then has some form of Russia-this or Russia-that ... overt laziness on the devs part!
