Even my liberal girlfriend is tired of the virtue signalling. She said something similar to this yesterday, "I keep seeing the same posts and I'm tired of it. I signed the peitions, I vote, but these riots and looting aren't helping. I see all these people that are white always posting and I feel bad because I haven't posted anything but what else do I need to say or add? I feel bad if I don't, but if I do post I'd feel bad that I'm co-opting"

That is the true white guilt. White guilt is manufactured and is essentially peer-pressure.

I told her "Don't post. Because if you do post, you're doing what you complain about others. Sign petitions, vote, etc. If you post, it's because you are being guilt tripped into it. It's not a real 'apology' then. It's similar to when you're a kid and your parents force you to apologize even though you don't feel remorse. This is the upgraded version of that. Just put down your phone, turn off social media and just relax."
