She just said their local grocery store just closed, as well as the restaurants and shops adjoining it--because bus loads of people are arriving at a nearby parking lot, unloading everybody even as more busloads are pulling in. So, the looters are about to hit a quiet affluent suburb. Curse them to hell.

I’ve been to Park Ridge ,IL I wouldn’t call it an affluent place, solid middle class. That said, it’s in Cook County which is a total joke. I hope your sister and her family are fine. Make sure she monitors the situation and calls the police if needed.
