I just took a drive and on the a.m. radio there was a 1940s radio variety comedy show.

It was heartbreaking to realize that the world our grandfathers and grandmothers gave us and the culture that they tried to pass on is for the most part dead in the population centers of America.

There’s a spark in the rural areas but dammit

We lost so much of what they gave us
