I remember visiting DC and it not being open yet and being so excited when I went back and it was open. What a dishonor for the sacrifice of so many Americans made. Irish, Native Americans, Germans, and Jews all faced incredible discrimination but still joined together to fight the kind of evil these vandals are supporting today.

It was every man woman and child in the United States. Women worked at Boeing putting together bombers and fighter planes, kids went around the neighborhood looking for scrap metal to recycle. It truly was a time where America bonded together, like Americans should. Symbolically, this one gets to me, my Gramps was in the Mighty 8th.
