I agree and they are practicing gun safety. We took my 4 year old nephew out shooting (we held the gun and just let him aim and pull) but it was just subsonic rounds and a plinker so very quiet and no kick.

I have been shooting for years and never killed anything even though my friend on his farm wants me too (pests) but I just shoot targets.

They will grow up knowing safety and how to use a tool just like a hammer.
