It doesn't have to be that. Our national guard and military have the ability to corner and take into custody only those who are guilty. There's no reason for them not to do that.

Calling in the national guard because Democratic controlled states won't do their job isn't a police state. It's Federalism at its finest where the Feds are stepping in for what the State can't do. If things don't go back to normal after this is over then we can reeee police state but until then the system is working as intended.
