First of all the people looting are a small % of the population and they are not normally armed and the sure in the hell do not have firearm discipline. And these are the crazies we have to worry about in any "civil war". You think your normal lefty will engage? Nope.
Most Any leftest gun owner with any sense of firearm discipline will most likely not be one to worry about. How many gunshop owners are leftest? How many go to gun ranges? Dude commons sense will tell you the ration is pretty heavily weighted.
