I have autism and never fit in at school and because of it was more or less forced to fit in by teachers and wasn’t able to be my own person. I wasn’t fit for school, I wasn’t fit for college, I wasn’t fit to be some doctor. I was fit to be my own person. But that was essentially stripped by me, it was stripped to want to be my own person by the school. So as I got older I started to say “nah fuck this, I don’t want the government controlling my life the way teachers did. If I’m an adult why the fuck can’t I raise my kids the way I want to? Why can’t my kids be homeschooled, why the fuck do I need to pay for social programs that don’t benefit me or serve my interests. Why can’t I just give the money to my church instead?“ And then college There was a class where I said “why can’t I be an individual?” and a professor said Something like “well you’re gonna need doctors that went to public school”. And that moment I knew why I thought the way I did because the modern world is evil and it tried to shape me into a sheep my whole life but I never bought in. And Bernie Sanders telling me I can’t be a construction worker because it’s harmful to the environment and have to hand over all my money to pay for illegal aliens was no different than Mrs. First Grade telling me I have to go to college and can’t just be the next Triple H.
This is a Fundamental Conservative Tenant.
What you said is powerful. The Rioters in the Street are battling against this simple concept here. Its probably also why the city riots are so intense. They are raging against individuality. They do not see Goerge Floyd as a man. They see George Floyd as a Black man. They will not give him the dignity to be an individual. He must be balkanized into a collective. This is the core of the reality in our nation. Everything is spiritual.

Same here on this point. I had to reinvent myself after college I still know I had a lot of creativity and energy as a kid that was repeatedly suppressed, and I haven't gained it all back since.
"Police reform" is a straw man they prop up to keep people angry and confused about who and what the real enemies are.
No PD is perfect, and everything can always be improved, but many - arguably most - of the police brutality situations we've seen can be traced to Dem/Leftist corruption and exploitation.
They closed the psych wards, glorify gangster mentality, allow drugs to flood into communities, etc, etc.
I've just been reading about LA's current sheriff, and he's one giant ball of corruption who happens to talk good on TV. He'll be the first one to advocate police reforms, but the only reform the sheriff's department needs is to get a someone with morals and decency into his position. It's really as simple as that.

Right, soooo if you got that list of demands, you and all the protesters would go home? What's the "or else" behind your demands? Or else we'll keep annoying cops and shutting down traffic? No, we know the real implied or-else is the looting and destruction. We also know you have no intent of going home, you just want power.

My leftist mother in law virtue signals and spews how Trump is a racist but as soon as we enter a predominantly minority neighborhood she is the first to freak out and make sure the doors are locked. Most of them are racist to the core. They just block it out by pretending to side with their causes.
