I’m not Christian, but at least with Jesus and most forms of Christianity, you can do a lot worse than to live by what’s preached in there. There’s some baggage here and there like anything that’s still read after thousands of years, but it’s still pretty solid advice on life and how things work.
The Quran’s pretty militant. You’re only nice to your in group. There’s not much of a desire to convert, if any. The main strategy is to out breed and take over nonbelievers.
If Christianity’s closer to an old self-help club with some racial and homophobic slurs in there because it’s really old, Islam’s like an Arabian militia that would sooner kill all gay people, and treats women like actual slaves. You can’t even travel to most muslim countries because there’s a very real chance of death. We’re not talking about things they ‘used to do’ in ancient times, either. I’m talking about yesterday. And, in the time it took you to read this, another gay was probably stoned to death right now. Another woman really raped, not regret sexed, but real fucking raped.
Islam’s a failed religion. It either needs to be reformed into something unrecognizable from what it has been and currently is, or called out and opposed.

And maybe the bible talked about race because race exists. Crazy, I know. It's not like race riots are happening right now or anything.
