Call me crazy, but I think the real goal is less to do with race relations and more to do with economics.
President Trump kept saying all through out the lock downs that the economy would sling shot back. Small businesses make up a major part of the economy, so extending the lock downs caused a bunch to go under. Now add in looting and burning, it puts the ones that were still hanging on out of business. The riots also impact the large retailers who will have to spend money to repair and resupply plus lower demand due to the small business employees being unemployed.
I suspect their goal is the lock downs ending after the riots, we won't see the economic improvement Trump promised, and the media will go back to "Trump could never rebuild the economy. He rode what Obama created."
Yes - the coronavirus turns out to be an exaggerated bullshit mess. People were about to continue on with their lives and the economy would get going again. So in order to stop that the Democrats activated their mobs.
They tried with Ahmaud Aubery but the guys got charged and there was too much footage of him in the house to be legitimately not there to rob it. They tried with that lady in the park walking her dog - but it turns out she was a Democrat so it did not activate the mobs. They tried with Breona Taylor - she had a bunch of illegal guns and drugs in the house so that did not work.
With George Floyd - a guy that served 5 years for putting a gun to a woman's stomach and ransacking her house - who had a rap sheet a mile long - They got a picture perfect opportunity to activate their mobs.
This has been something they have been planning for a while - they just needed a spark.
I feel like this election will come down to the more moderate/independents, and alot if older moderate Dems were warming up to Trump due to the economy. My neighbors in Philly (life long democrats) even said "I don't like him, but he's the only person who can fix the economy". This is an economic attack disguised as a race issue.
I think, hope, and have seen CV19 turn people towards Trump and not away.
I believe that this all will help Trump.... unless they succeed in defrauding give American voter through vote harvesting
