That 50 state experiment showed the failure of Democratic leadership and the success of GOP leadership.
This is a completely different situation. I trust Trump's instincts and am sure he considered counsel from competent advisors before making his decision. We don't know how far he'll push it, but this could be a complete success or go ass up.
I'm hoping that a show of force will dissuade rioters with no shots fired. I hope US troops are deployed to back up local cops for intimidation purposes and exercise restraint.
I've been behind enemy lines watching CNN for the past couple hours, and they are predicting another Kent State.
Thoughts? I'm not looking for unqualified support for Trump's decision, as this decision will set a precedent for future Presidents.

There will be more blood shed, yes. Perhaps a good bit more, it is the Enemy's call here, not ours to control.
The simple reality of America is that many States and/or cities do not have legitimate governments. What I mean is they are not capable or willing to perform their sworn duties as government officials must do. In many cases they are frauds in that they took the office, swearing to perform certain duties, knowing they would not so perform said duties YET cashing the paycheck and exercising the authorities granted them. Frauds.
And many of those frauds did conspire to BE the frauds they are, using organizations and planning and taking monies to attain the positions. Conspiracy huh, innit, huh. Sorry, my bad.
As we see illustrated over and over the last few years those local/state governments are failing their duties, their infrastructures do not work or exist, they are kin debt, they have high crime rates and no expectation or real hope of getting better. They fail to exercise the Rule of Law...and all the while most of them misuse/hide/lose monies.
The People are suffering in those places, the whole country suffers because of them.
So POTUS has the ability to invoke the act, and in this case it will be Rightfully done.
People are demanding it be done to restore sanity.
Hell, the Democrats won't even go to DC and do their damn Congressional jobs, yet they cash the checks.
Frauds, they fail the People and so the Military must go in, We the People must restore Law.
Yeah there will be more blood, and later arrests, and later still even more arrests of larger stature.
All the blood is on the hands of the idiot left, the Enemy. All of it even tho many idiot leftists are simple Tools being used. Still they choose to BE used don't they, so they may well bleed.
The thing is, Honest Citizens will bleed too, because the Enemy is mindless.
