So far it has been peaceful, but it gets louder every evening. There have been riots in other cities in my state. We are supposed to move into a new house in two weeks out in the country. Please just pray that my husband, kids l, and I stay safe until then.

Stay calm. Have an escape plan out a back door. If you have loose furniture or items out front bring them in.
