So far it has been peaceful, but it gets louder every evening. There have been riots in other cities in my state. We are supposed to move into a new house in two weeks out in the country. Please just pray that my husband, kids l, and I stay safe until then.

Can a friend or family stay with you? Just as a friendly visit, but would be nice if need be... Also bring in your stuff, make your home look unsexy. Cameras are nice, you can live monitor them since you absolutely do not want to give anyone outside an idea of who lives there. Watch them, dont let them watch you.
Also a good time to go door to door and talk with your neighbors. Just say hello.
