I used to love Gangsta rap and then I realised it was all lies and each of the people in it were fake but they created a whole culture of this. Low pants so mimic prison ones, violence and theft

This is diversity. Start watching Jared Taylor and get a clue.

Yes. It's been that way for a long while. Black and white kids are pretty much dressing the same-- Hoodies, skinny jeans, Jordan's or Yeezy's or some retro sneaker- occasional beanie or snap back hat.

Honestly it’s the belt tightened under the ass cheeks that I can’t handle....

They misunderstood our use of Boogaloo and have co-opted our term we co-opted from an old breakdancing movie. Lol. Black Boogaloo.

House was amazing in the 80s to early 90s. I prefer Vocal Trance

Done a few Hardcore and Happy hardcore raves but I started on house and it still has a special place in my head

Always loved Ultrasonic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhjuiOwE1Cw

Saw em in concert. Best gigs for raves was Itchy and Scratchy and the Prodigy

Best rave was also https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRF_BH2r2kc FOD 4

Only rave I kept ticket stubs from

Metal and Techno both have their place. Also rock lilke Iron Maiden

Sorry drunk rambling but the vids I linked are worth it. I could be in the FOD 4 one lol

I hear you dude as my tastes are just more Chill out and I loved Sasha and Diggweed too much. I was the only friend who had a car and I had Northern Exposure playing before every rave. It was my hype music

Listen to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQH0GPL33uc

Even contacted them to come and play near me. I like what Sasha and Diggweed did where their music did not repeat. Always felt like I was on a JOURNEY

Also first time I smoked DMT was to Portico Quartet and it made them my fav group ever instantly hahahaha.

Always lover Oakenfold but there is a few Aussie DJs like Pee Wee Ferris

I got tickets to Paul Van Dyk and he played house. I was so upset

Got too many Djs I like but now it is just chill music for me and maybe some nice guitar

Not against country here but the themes are repetitive. As I get older I just want to hear music and no words.

Also found out I enjoy Ballet with my last Girlfriend. Getting old lol

Damn it I am typing in the dark while drunk and accidently deleted everything. My touch typing is amazing as I work in IT too but mixed with Vodka gets sloppy.

Every time I take Ayahausca some new persons asks to listen to Shpongle. Heard it about 10 times now and done it 20. 50/50

Really enjoyed the Dreamstate Logic. Perfect calm chill music and I can understand working too it bro.

Your last paragraph cracks me up. If I was peaking and saw that it would crack my head open. I did have a Dj point me out in a crowd as I was dancing hard all night and it was just an amazing rush. I know the Donald is generally anti drugs but they are alot of fun and have helped me heaps. I dont smoke pot but I do garden and have so much Bok Choi I am giving it away but I did grow it once. Turned out good but gave it away. I just like growing weird stuff but mostly succulents and food

Firstly all the sex in the 80s and 90s and now healing plant medicines. And LSD is just fun

I once got to finger paint a chick in a bikini at a rave. This is a well lived youth

I am 43 (or it could be 42) and raved and clubbed since I 18 -30 or so. I sorta stopped cause MDMA stopped working and I was doing stupid stuff like 6-8 pills a night with GHB and probably speed. Now I am old I dont have any hookups apart from some psychedelics and thats good cause for me it is once a month max.

When you start buying 75 pills at a time it is a good idea to stop that shit. (thats like 2 grand here or was at the time)

I used to have a really high paying job and took my friends out every weekend and paid for them. Wasted all my cash

If you are scared of bad trips dont try Aya as it is the most intense thing I have felt but I have a good mind about it. I always know it ends and it is trying to show me something.

Once took LSD with San Pedro and I tripped for 24 hours and then slept for 24 I wont ever do that again. Shrooms and MDMA together is magic. Just always know to throw love at a bad trip and you can turn it around (it does not always work) but i always ends

And if you ever get to try pure DMT do it. It is 15 mins of just pure intense but fun.

I feel all plant medicines need nature and chemical ones need parties

I have done too many medicines I can see in my life but I would give everyone up to have 1,4 B which is GHB for ever. They demonised it as a date rape drug but we all know thats alcohol. GHB made me the best sales person at Cisco for a year

Man I am drunk rambling but this has been fun

Spez Just to add that Ketamine is awesome fun

Nice find and damn I want to see them live. Like Sasha and Digweed I just love how their music evolves as it is being played

It is uplifting. Damn I love their music

It is 11pm here so I am watching old tv shows and horror.

Everyone is in bed and I can enjoy a good horror movie

He's talking about the culture. The culture fucking sucks--

It's poisoned the minds of a couple of generations of black people- I swear if you ask black teens what they want to do with their lives, the answer will invariably be they want to be a rapper. It's fucking insane- atleast some of them work a job or two to pursue their dreams. But many just deal and party-- Country music singers don't murder each other. Every other week a rappers getting murdered or OD'ing.

Yeah, but they don't murder each other. The culture of country now is more pop oriented anyway- I prefer outlaw country myself- most pre 90's country.

I don't mind hip hop or rap, but I'm not an easily influenced teen. I could listen to the music for what it was/is and it's not a part of my lifestyle or identity. For a lot of people it is, and that's a problem.

I remember when hip hop first started. It was just a bunch of black youth from the streets of NY that wanted something to call their own. It was the combination of lyricism, breakdance, graffiti and DJ'ing. It was a way for the youth of the community to stay out of trouble and do something productive creating their own art.

I grew up listening to mostly clean lyrics, mainly about rhyming finesse and the hardships and struggles of life. Today i listen to groups like HiTek & Epidemic and Binary Star. They have lyrics, rhymes and metaphors that I would put up against the best poets.

The music and industry has been perverted. Good hip hop music is found only in the underground, and any good mainstream rappers left are forced to put out garbage. There is clearly an agenda underfoot. The youth have no rolemodels and fathers within their own community and in turn look up to these very same rappers that poison and corrupt the youth with their messages. The cycle continues and every generation seems to be worse.

I agree. Im talking about hip hop though. Its the genre I've always loved and still do. I'm just addressing this particular genre because it's very near and dear to me. Add to the fact that it is currently the genre with the biggest fanbase atm.

The only people that listens to underground are people like you and I. The older cats that still remember guys like Rakim, kool G Rap, Nas and the like. The youth didn't grow up with good lyricism and don't know there is an alternative. The OP is misguided for sure, but he's not entirely wrong. Every genre of music has been tainted to the max outside of country and even then its not looking good. All in all rap isn't solely responsible for the conditions today, but I'd say it probably has the biggest influence of them all when it comes to music. If he thinks that whatever his preference of music is a beacon of artistic enlightenment he is sorely mistaken.

500,000 is a mere pittance compared to what plays on the radio. What impact does that have on these kids. Hell, I'm probably responsible for a few thousand plays on those videos myself. Look at the comment section and below and you can find out who listens to it. You won't find very many of the youth.

You're environment and what you choose to surrond yourself with can certainly impact your brain. There is a reason why brain washing works. Those that don't already know the truth nor seek it out can be manipulated. Tell someone lies their entire life and they will believe it especially while young. It becomes the very lenses through which they see reality.
