How about we accept that if, in the act of arresting someone who has not committed a violent crime and is not resisting violently, they declare that they are unable to breath and you are doing something that could reasonably be seen to be impeding their airway, we make it a policy that the police find some other means or position in which to restrain them? Is that asking too much? Can we all agree on that?
Lets not let the crazy left push us into becoming the crazy right. We don't have to take the polar opposite stance on everything. Most reasonable people would agree that cops shouldn't be kneeling down on people's necks for 8 minutes when they're already on the ground and handcuffed.
