I disagree. I think there’s way more to this than we know. I think the cop intended to seriously injure, if not kill, Floyd. I don’t think it has anything to do with race, though. And, if the cop targeted Floyd specifically for that kind of abuse, it’s not about wide-spread police brutality either. Racism & legitimate grievance about police brutality in one’s city don’t have anything to do with Floyd’s murder.
