No, Wounded animals are dangerous so you have to Defend yourself by eliminating the threat.
Now I'm not hunting them down, but if they approach me or mine, regardless of whether it's my home, a business or on my way to church, I will defend myself with deadly force. I cannot macho my way out without it since I'm old and the threat is deadly in almost all circumstances.
I saw a dear friend wilt away after a home invasion that sapped his strength after getting beat up. He died in less than a year. I will not hesitate.
